Bulls Participate in Mental Health Awareness Week

BUFFALO, NY – The Mid-American Conference hosted their second annual Mental Health Awareness week from February 13 to February 18. The University at Buffalo's athletics department is hoping to help spread awareness through a short video.

Treyvon Mask, a senior track athlete for the University at Buffalo attended the MAC Summit on Mental Health Awareness. He was able to develop a short video that features athletes from each sport at Buffalo. The video depicts how student-athletes cope with anxiety in sports and in everyday life.

The Mid-American Conference and the University at Buffalo is hoping to shed a light on mental health and hope to spread the message "It's okay to not be okay."
