Cierra Dillard averaged 25.5 ppg, 9.0 apg and 3.0 rpg to help lead Buffalo to wins over Akron and Northern Illinois. Against Akron, Dillard had a game high 25 points, including a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line, and seven assists. Dillard recorded a game-high 26 points and a career-high 11 assists in the win. The senior scored her 1,000th point in a Bulls uniform on a three pointer in the second quarter. Dillard became the fastest player in UB history to get to 1,000 career points, doing so in just 53 games. She is Buffalo's 25th 1,000 point scorer and one of only four to reach that milestone in less than 100 games. Dillard now has 1,017 points in a UB uniform, moving her into 23rd place on the all-time scoring list.

Alex Smythe              

Alex Smythe was dominant in a 24-9 technical fall win over Kent State’s Richard Jackson in Buffalo’s 28-13 victory over the Golden Flashes on Saturday. Smythe had an impressive 11 takedowns in the match. He had two early takedowns in the first period to take a 4-1 lead. He added four more takedowns in the second period. The senior grappler finished off Jackson by taking him down five times in the third period to complete the tech fall victory.
