Men’s Soccer Retains Big 4 Shield On David Enstrom’s Late Marker; Downs Canisius 1-0 BUFFALO, NY – Junior defender David Enstrom buried his first career game-winning goal in the 81st minute to give the University at Buffalo men’s soccer team (2-0-0, 0-0-0 MAC) the 1-0 victory over cross-town rival Canisius in the battle for the Big 4 Shield on Sunday night at Demske Sports Complex. Women’s Soccer Plays Binghamton To 1-1 Draw BINGHAMTON, NY – The University at Buffalo women’s soccer team (1-2-1, 0-0-0 MAC) battled to a 1-1 draw on the road at Binghamton on Sunday afternoon, 1-1. Cicerone’s Program Record Five Goals Lifts Bulls To Dominant Season Opening Win BUFFALO, NY – Behind a record-setting performance by senior captain Russell Cicerone, the University at Buffalo men’s soccer team (1-0-0, 0-0-0 MAC) picked up a dominant 9-0 victory over Daemen College on Friday night in their season opener at UB Stadium. The packed stands witnessed history on Friday night as Cicerone set Division I program records for goals and points as he finished off his impressive night with five goals and an assist for 11 points in the win. Cicerone also became the first UB player in Division I history to record a hat-trick in a half, scoring three goals through the opening 45 minutes of play. Full Story
