Bulls Drop Series Finale on Senior Day

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo softball team dropped their series finale against Ball State 4-0 on Senior Day at Nan Harvey Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Cardinals got on the board first on an RBI walk but sophomore Julia Tarantino settled and escaped the bases loaded jam.
Ball State added to their lead in the top of the third with a two-run home run to go up 3-0 but the UB defense came up with a pair of big outs to limit the damage. The Cardinals got an insurance run on a solo home run in the top fourth to take a 4-0 lead and that was all they needed as the UB offense was held to just two hits on the afternoon.
Buffalo returns to action on Tuesday, April 26 as they host St. Bonaventure in a midweek contest at Nan Harvey Field at 3pm.
