Hoof Prints: A rangy defensive end who runs well...earned the starting role midway through his freshman season and really blossomed...has 12 sacks in his first three seasons...a multi-sport athlete who also participated on the basketball, track and swim teams at Grover Cleveland High School. 

Junior (2011): Was a disruptive force off the edge, providing a vital pass rush out of the team’s 3-4 defense... started in all 12 games for the team... made 33 tackles (15 solo, 3.5 for loss)... finished third on the team with 2.5 sacks... tallied a sack and a tackle for loss in a blowout win over Stony Brook (9/10)... made three tackles and blocked a field goal against UConn (9/24)... terrorized the Ohio offense with 1.5 sacks, 1.5 tackles for loss and four total tackles in a win over the Bobcats (10/8)... had three tackles and a blocked extra point against Eastern Michigan (11/12)... finished the season in style, tipping a pass up and picking it off, returning it 42 yards for a touchdown against Bowling Green (11/25).

Sophomore (2010): Was the team’s premier pass-rusher, leading all linemen on the team in tackles for loss (11) and sacks (4.5)... had four tackles, 1.5 sacks and two tackles for loss in a win over Rhode Island (9/2)... dominated the Connecticut offensive line, making two sacks and three tackles for loss (9/25)... had a season-high nine tackles, forced a fumble and had two tackles for loss against Northern Illinois (10/16)... made eight tackles, recovered a fumble and made an acrobatic interception against Ohio (11/4)... had four tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss in the season finale at Akron (11/26).

Redshirt Freshman (2009): Had a breakout season in his first year on the field...appeared in all 12 games and started the final seven of the year...led the Bulls with five sacks and ranked third on the squad with 6.5 tackles for loss...had 25 tackles and added two quarterback hurries and a pass breakup...honored by Phil Steele Magazine as a first-team All-Freshman...had four tackles, including a pair of sacks against Gardner-Webb (10/10)...had four tackles (three solo), including two sacks against Akron (10/17)...had a season-high five tackles, including a sack against Bowling Green (11/3).

Freshman (2008): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.

High School: A two-time All-Western New York selection while playing at Grover Cleveland High School for head coach Tony Alessi...had 108 tackles, 20 sacks, an interception and five forced fumbles as a senior...team was the runner up for the Harvard Cup.
