Hoof Prints: A strong, flexible and powerful tight end who came on at the close of the 2010 season…a versatile player who played tight end, defensive end and fullback in high school... chose Buffalo for the teammates and surroundings.
Junior (2012): Was a do-everything standout for the Bulls, playing in all 12 games while making 10 starts... was a mainstay on special teams in both kick returns and kick coverage, returning three kicks for 51 yards and making three tackles in coverage... caught 17 passes for 262 yards, the fourth most on the team, and a pair of touchdowns as the team’s tight end... made three catches for 63 yards in the season opener against Georgia (9/1)... caught two passes for 23 yards and a touchdown against Morgan State (9/8)... pulled down a touchdown to help fuel the team’s comeback win over Massachusetts (11/17)... earned the UBelieve Tight End Award.
Sophomore (2011): Was given the starting position due to injuries and he capitalized with a solid season, appearing in every game and making seven starts... made five catches for 44 yards for the season... made two catches for 12 yards in the season opener against Pittsburgh (9/3)... had a season-long catch of 15 yards against UConn (9/24)... caught two passes for 17 yards against Akron (11/19).
Redshirt-Freshman (2010): Appeared in seven games... broke out in the final game of the season, catching a game-high five passes for 54 yards against Akron (11/26).
Freshman (2009): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: A four-year letterwinner for head coach James Chiarello at Patchogue-Medford High School...as a tight end, had seven catches for 85 yards his senior season...as a defensive end, had 46 solo tackles, eight sacks and 12 pass deflections as a senior...named All-State and All-Long Island as a senior...a two-time All-County selection...runner up for the Zellner Award - awarded to the best lineman in Suffolk County.
