Mack Earns CFPA Linebacker Trophy

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack has been named the winner of the 2013 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Linebacker Trophy, as announced by the organization.

For the 2013 season, Mack contributed 100 total tackles, 19.0 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and two touchdowns.

Mack was recently named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America. He was previously named a first-team All-American by Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports, as well as being named to the Associated Press, Walter Camp and USA Today second team.

Twenty-one CFPA winners have been first-round NFL Draft selections.
