BUFFALO, NY – Fresh off a school-record 10-win campaign and a berth in the Dollar General Bowl, the University at Buffalo football team announced it will kick off the 2019 campaign at home against Robert Morris on Thursday, August. 29. The Bulls released their entire 2019 football schedule on Wednesday.

After opening the season against Robert Morris on August 29, Buffalo will travel to Penn State on September 7. It will be the fourth time the Bulls and Nittany Lions will meet. The teams most recently met in 2007 and again in 2015.
The Bulls will stay on the road and play at Liberty on September 14. The teams met once previously, in 1998, when both were FBS programs. The Flames moved to the FBS ranks in 2017. Former UB head coach Turner Gill was the head coach at Liberty from 2012 to 2018 before recently retiring.
Buffalo will close out the non-conference portion of their schedule on September 21 when they host Temple. The teams met last season at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia with the Bulls coming away with a thrilling 36-29 victory in the game's final minute.
The remaining eight games of the season will be against Mid-American Conference foes, beginning with a road contest at Miami (OH) on September 28. The Bulls will host Ohio in a homecoming matchup on October 5.
Following a bye on October 12, the Bulls will play at Akron on Oct. 19. Buffalo will close out October with a home game against Central Michigan on October 26. UB will play at Eastern Michigan on November 2.
Buffalo's final three games of the season will be weeknight contests played on national television. The Bulls will play at Kent State on Thursday, November 14 on the CBS Sports Network followed by a home game against Toledo on Wednesday, November 20 on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The Bulls will close out the regular season against Bowling Green at home on Friday, November 29. The game will air on either ESPNU, CBS Sports Network or ESPN3.

NCAA 150th CELEBRATION
The MAC and its 12 members will join NCAA and NAIA institutions in celebrating 150 years of college football during the 2019 season, and the MAC has created a specific celebration plan in collaboration with all 12 MAC football programs. The MAC's celebration program will also run in addition with the national 150th platform for all FBS programs.
MAC Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 23, will serve as the official start of the 2019 season. During the day's events, the Conference will roll out a MAC-branded 150th video and unveil plans to highlight each MAC football program during the 2019 season.
Each week during the 2019 season, the MAC will highlight one MAC football program with team recognitions, games, moments, coaches, student-athletes via MAC social media accounts and video content.
MAC programs will also participate in the National College Football 150 uniform patch program for the 2019 season. The patches will be one color (silver metallic), 3.5 x 1.7 inches and will be placed on the right, front chest of the jersey above the MAC logo.
