BUFFALO, NY - Following a 2-0 road trip that saw the Bulls pick up wins at Kent State and Ohio, UB returns home Saturday afternoon to host Miami (OH) at Alumni Arena. Both teams are looking to build on winning streaks as the Bulls have won three in a row and the RedHawks have won their last two.
UB is coming off a 69-64 victory at Ohio and is being led by senior Javon McCrea who is averaging 18.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest. Fellow senior Joshua Freelove is second on the team at 12.6 points per contest.
Miami has won two straight including a 65-61 victory over Akron on Wednesday night. Will Felder leads the RedHawks at 14.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Geovonie McKnight is the only other RedHawks averaging double figures.
Miami leads the all-time series 22-11, but the Bulls have won two straight, both in Oxford. The Bulls won the first meeting on Feb. 12, 75-62. McCrea led all scorers with 25 points and added 11 rebounds. Freelove had 16 in the first meeting, while Jaryd Eustace led Miami with 17 points.
