BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo senior guard Jeremy Harris has been named the MAC East Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. It is the fifth time a UB player has been honored this season.
Harris had a career week for the Bulls as he averaged 25.5 points in the two wins for Buffalo against Toledo and Miami (OH). Harris also added 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. In the 110-80 win over Toledo, Harris had a career high 34 points, including a career best six three pointers. Harris had 21 of those points in the first half, while adding seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Harris followed that up with 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists on Saturday in the victory over Miami. The Greensboro, NC native leads the Bulls in scoring in MAC games at 20.0 per game.
The Bulls, who moved up to 16th in the latest Associated Press national poll, will be back in action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Western Michigan. Tipoff is at 7pm on ESPN+.
