BUFFALO, NY – The Mid-American Conference announced on Thursday afternoon in conjunction with ESPN that the final regular season home against Bowling Green on March 8 at Alumni Arena has been picked up by ESPNU. The game will now tip at 6pm.
The Bulls and Falcons are currently tied for the top record in league play at 9-2. Bowling Green won a highly contested game at the Stroh Center between the two teams, 92-88, just two weeks ago.
Overall this will be the sixth games to air on the ESPN family of networks and the fourth time that a UB game will be on ESPNU (West Virginia, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Bowling Green). Buffalo will also have two regular season appearances on ESPN2.
The game will mark the 13th time that a UB games has been selected for national television and the ninth time in 10 opportunities that the MAC selected Buffalo for its national wild card spot.
One of those national TV spots will occur tomorrow evening when the Bulls head to Savage Arena to face the Toledo Rockets. The game will tip at 7:00 pm on ESPNU.
