BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo senior Nick Perkins has been selected to play in the NABC All-Star Game, which will take place at US Bank Stadium on Friday, April 5.
The 4:30 p.m. ET game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
The Reese's College All-Star Game features the top senior student-athletes from NCAA Division I competing on the NCAA Final Four floor. The game is played as part of Final Four Friday, which also includes open practices for each of the teams competing in the Final Four.
The Reese's College All-Star Game is free to attend for all NABC Convention registrants and guests, as well as the general public.
Perkins was an All-MAC First Team selection for the second straight year and he was named the MAC's Sixth Man of the Year for the third straight year, the first player in college basketball history to be named Sixth Man of the Year in three straight seasons.
Perkins finished second on the team at 14.7 points per game this year and led Buffalo with 7.4 rebounds per game. He leaves UB fifth on the all-time scoring list. Perkins was one of three players in the NCAA Tournament to record double-doubles in both games during the opening week of competition. He had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the victory over Arizona State and followed that up with 17 points and 10 rebounds against Final Four bound Texas Tech.
Perkins will be the second UB senior to head to Minneapolis this week joining CJ Massinburg, who will be competing in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-point Championships on Thursday evening.
