Buffalo Men’s Tennis Program Adds Two to 2014-15 Roster

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo men's tennis head coach Lee Nickell announced the addition of two student-athletes to the Bulls' 2014-15 roster. Noah Hajdu-Andersson and Tony Miller join six returners on the Bulls lineup.

Hajdu-Andersson, who attended Wang toppidrett Oslo and played for coach Pelle Fridell, brings a wealth of big game and international playing experience to the program. "He has had great success in Norway and throughout Europe on the tennis court, and is known to be a young man with great character off the court," Lee said. "We know he will come in and contribute immediately in both singles and doubles."

"Tony is a local product with unbelievable upside and great leadership qualities," stated Lee. "I was hoping he would make the choice to come here so we could have the opportunity to work with him. He has had victories over some of our former players in both singles and doubles in local tournaments, and I know he will impact us both on and off the court right away." Miller follows in his parents' footsteps, as both his mother and father played tennis for the Bulls. His father, Todd is a member of the UB Athletics Hall of Fame.

The Bulls open their fall season at the Binghamton Invitational Sept. 5-7, before traveling to the Ivy + Invitational at Princeton Sept. 19-21. UB will compete at the Penn Invitational Sept. 26-28.

October features play at the Brown Invitational (4-5) and ITA Regionals in New York City (16-21). The fall season concludes with the MAC Singles/Doubles Championships at Western Michigan.
