Bulls Head To No. 39 Penn State

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team will face the 39th ranked team in the country on Saturday afternoon when the Bulls head down to State College to face Penn State at 1:00 pm.

UB is 3-2 on the season after a dominating 7-0 sweep of Quinnipiac this past Sunday. Leading the charge for the Bulls has been Vilhelm Fridell, who is 2-2 at the No. 1 spot and 1-0 at No. 2. Fridell is also part of the team's top doubles pair along with Simon Wibler.

Penn State is 3-0 all-time against the Bulls. The two teams last met in the 2018 season when the Nittany Lions walked away with the win, 7-0.

The Nittany Lions are 5-3 on the season following a 4-2 win over William and Mary.  After a 3-0 start to open the season, Penn State dropped three of four match, including a 4-1 loss at Harvard, a team Buffalo defeated 4-3 to open the spring season.
