Swimming & Diving named CSCAA Scholar All-American Team

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's swimming & diving team has been named to the Division I Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2018 semester, awarded by the Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) the organization announced Tuesday. Buffalo is among a record-setting 460 universities from around the country to receive the honor.

The teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their fall grade point averages. To be awarded, eligible squads were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes. 
 
Buffalo was one of five MAC programs to receive Scholar All-American squad recognition, joining Ball State University, Bowling Green State University, Eastern Michigan University and Miami University, as the Bulls posted an impressive team GPA of 3.5175 during the fall semester.

The Bulls will return to the pool next weekend on February 1st as the team honors their seniors on senior day. The action gets underway at 4:00 p.m. at the Alumni Arena Natatorium.
