CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference announced the Academic All-MAC Teams for the men's and women's outdoor track and field season on Wednesday morning. The men had 10 student-athletes recognized, while the women had 16 student-athletes receive the honor.
John McCarthy, a junior Biology major for Buffalo, registered a perfect 4.0.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for the particular sport.
