She also earned WEABL first team honors after averaging 16.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.2 blocks per game during her senior season. She will represent her country once again at the 2019 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship this summer.
"Loren is going to be a welcome addition to our UB women's basketball family," said Legette-Jack. "She is a prolific shooter who will stretch the opponent's defense and has a mid-range game and the ability to take her defender off the bounce and get to the basket as well. She has a great personality, an amazing family and is an incredible student-athlete. We are fortunate to have Loren join our program."
Christie is the fourth player to sign a National Letter of Intent, joining Dyaisha Fair, Jessika Schiffer and Elea Gaba.
