BUFFALO, NY – Former University at Buffalo women’s basketball standout Stephanie Reid signed her first professional contract in her native Australia last week. Reid becomes the second Bull in the last two seasons to sign a professional contract as JoAnna Smith signed in Portugal after her UB career a season ago.
The Mid-American Conference announced today the Distinguished Scholar Athletes from the eight winter sports during this 2017-18 academic season as 152 students were voted by faculty athletic representatives at MAC institutions representing the ‘best of the best’ from each sports Academic All-MAC Teams. Eleven University at Buffalo student-athletes from five different teams were named Distinguished Scholar Athletes.

With the win, the Bulls broke the previous school record of 23 wins that was set back in 1991-1992 and tied in 1995-96.

Hemphill finished off her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks as UB tied a program record with their 23rd win.
