Second Annual “TAKEDOWN CANCER” Event Raises over $28,000

BUFFALO, NY— On Sunday February 20th the Buffalo Bulls wrestling team defeated Northern Illinois by a score of 22-9 in the Division of Athletics second annual "TAKEDOWN CANCER" fundraiser in memory of Jeffrey D. Parker, former student and member of the Bulls wrestling team. Parker lost his battle with cancer on May 22, 2010. In his honor the event raised over $28,000 to be donated to the Jeff Parker Foundation and Carly's Club of Western New York.
