Wrestling to Offer Three Upcoming Summer Camps

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling program will host three instructional camps beginning June 22. The Bulls will host Father and Son Weekend June 22-24, Commuter Technique Camp June 25-28 and Team Competition Camp July 8-11.

The Father/Son Technique camp, open to all ages, brings a high caliber of skill from top level instructors for a great cost. Wrestlers will be able to learn from multiple D1 qualifiers, All-Americans and Olympic-level athletes. The room will be filled with D1 wrestlers with great guidance for the campers. We also have a father and son activity planned during the week.

The Commuter Technique Camp, open to all ages, brings the highest level of instruction to your backyard for a minimum cost.  Wrestlers will be given the opportunity to learn and perfect technique shown by Olympic caliber wrestlers and Division I coaches, under the watchful eye of 30 Division I athletes determined to let no mistake go uncorrected.  Lunch will be provided each day; all your wrestler needs are his/her shoes and a willingness to learn.

The Team Competition Camp meets the needs of all wrestlers entering grades 7-12, from beginner through advanced levels.  Campers are grouped according to experience and skill level.  This camp concentrates on technique instruction and competition.  It features three sessions daily consisting of technique instruction, drills and competition, including special sessions in the evening comprised of competition, nutrition, strength training and leadership.
