Bulls Look to Get Back on Track at Old Dominion on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will travel to Old Dominion on Sunday for a Mid-American Conference dual.  The Bulls are looking to bounce back from a 20-16 dual loss at SIU-Edwardsville on January 11.

Winners of four of their last six duals, the Bulls are in search of their first conference win of the season.

The Bulls have two wrestlers in the national rankings. Senior Bryan Lantry is ranked 11th at 141 points and senior Jake Gunning is ranked 12th at heavyweight.

Old Dominion is 5-4 in duals on the season and is coming off 21-15 win against Chattanooga last Saturday. The Monarchs have four wrestlers in the national rankings. Sa'Derian Perry and Larry Early are ranked ninth at 141 and 157, respectively, while Michael McGee is ranked 19th at 125 and Seldon Wright is ranked 23rd at 174.

This will be the ninth meeting between the schools. Old Dominion leads the all-time series, 5-3. The Monarchs won the last meeting, 22-9, at Alumni Arena last season.
