2012: Continues to climb the lists of every
major record in program history after another solid season between
the pipes... started in 18 games and played 1,612 minutes (eighth
most in a single season in program history)... made 76 saves, and
became one of just six UB goalies to ever go over the 300 career
saves mark... posted a 1.12 goals-against average, lowering her
career average to 1.31 (sixth lowest all-time)... managed four
shutouts, the seventh most in a single season in program history...
made three saves in a 2-0 shutout of rival Canisius (8/23)... made
six saves in a double overtime tie at St. Bonaventure (8/26)...
shut out Robert Morris with three saves (9/14)... led the team to a
crucial conference win, making three saves in a shutout of MAC East
rival Ohio (10/7)... kept the team’s tournament hopes alive
with a 1-0 shutout win over Western Michigan, tying a season high
with seven saves (10/21).
2011: Emerged as not just the top goalie in the
conference, but in the nation, setting multiple program
single-season records along the way... earned MAC Defensive Player
of the Week Honors three times (8/29, 9/20, 10/30)... started every
game and played in 1935 of the team’s 1999 total minutes,
24th most in the country and the highest minute total in program
history... had ten shutouts and started the first 71 minutes of
another shutout, setting another program record for most shutouts
in a single season... only 26 Division I teams had more shutouts
than her... had a save percentage of .891... her save percentage
was the highest by any goalie in the country with 95 saves or
more... had a streak of seven shutouts in eight games, allowing
only three total goals in the non-conference season... she had to
work for her shutouts as well, facing 314 shots and making 126
saves, 30 more than the second place goalie in the category in the
MAC... her 139 stops were the 4th most in program history, and she
ranked second nationally in saves... had four games with 10 or more
saves, including two games with 14 saves (which ranks in the top 20
for most saves in a single game by a UB goalie)... posted a
goals-against average of 0.79, the third best in program history...
was a brick wall in the team’s seven overtime games, making
nine saves and allowing no goals in extra time, helping the team to
a 3-0-4 record in those games... made 10 saves in a shutout of
Central Michigan (9/30)... made five of her 11 total saves in
overtime to lead the team to a scoreless tie against Ball State
(10/14)... stepped up when it mattered most, making 14 saves in a
1-0 shutout of Akron in the second to last game of the year
(10/23)... ranked first in the Mid-American Conference in saves,
shutouts and saves per game, also ranking in the top three in
goals-against average and second in save percentage.
2010: Stepped in as an injury replacement and
blossomed into a consistent performer in the net... made 96 saves,
16th most in a single season in program history despite missing the
final three games due to injury... finished second in the MAC in
both total saves and saves per game, and 10th in save percentage...
recorded the team’s lone shutout of the season in a 0-0 tie
with Western Michigan (10/3)... had four double-digit save games,
including a season-high 12 saves against Central Michigan
High School: Played four-years under head coach
Valeria Leconte at Bluevale Collegiate Institute...also played for
the Burlington Sting...owned the lowest Goals Against Average in
the OYSL in 2009...also played volleyball.
Personal: Born March 26, 1992... parents are
Mike and Kellie...has one sister, Cassie...favorite kind of food is
Sushi...hobbies include song writing, playing guitar, snowboarding
and yoga...chose UB because of its Exercise Science program and the
soccer team...would like to set the school record for most shut
outs...plans to major in exercise science.
