2016: Despite missing game action midway through the season, she proved to be one of the most dangerous midfielders in the MAC during her junior campaign... she appeared in 14 matches while starting 13... earned Second Team All-MAC honors after compiling two goals, two assists and six points to go along with 39 shots... had two games with three points during her junior season... netted her first goal and assist of the season in UB's 3-1 victory over ST. Bonaventure (8/25)... netted a goal and assist to go along with four shots in the Bulls 3-0 win over Canisius (9/9)... notched a career-high 10 shots in the Bulls 0-0 draw against Brown (9/1)... had 10 games with at least two shots... earned Academic All-MAC accolades for the second straight season.
2015: Continued to prosper into one of the most dangerous attacking midfielders in the conference as a sophomore as she earned 2nd team All-MAC honors for her efforts... started all 21 games for the Bulls as a sophomore... finished the season tied for the team lead with a career-best six goals and ranked second with 15 points... ranked first on the team with five game-winning goals on the season, a new career-high... ranked third with 39 shots and 22 shots on goal... went 1-for-2 on penalty kick opportunities... netted her first career three-point game against Canisius (8/30), finishing with a goal and assist... finished off MAC play with four goals and two assists... recorded a season-high five shots while scoring a goal against Binghamton (9/11)... earned academic All-MAC honors as well as being named to the MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete list.
2014: Turned into one of the most dynamic freshman in the MAC as she started all 22 games for the Bulls in her first season... named to the MAC All-Freshman team... she finished the season producing three goals and four assists for 10 points, ranking her third on the team... she also ranked second on the team with 56 shots while notching two game-winning markers on the season... she scored her first career goal in the Bulls season opening 1-0 victory over St. Bonaventure (8/22)... she notched a career-high two assists in the Bulls 3-1 win over Bowling Green (10/3)... scored the game-winner against Eastern Michigan (10/5) while also recording a career-high six shots in the win... the pesky midfielder finished the season with at least one shot in 20 of 22 matches for the Bulls.
High School: Played her high school soccer at Lord Dorchester Secondary School in Dorchester, Ontario…also played club soccer for the Nor West Wildcats of the Ontario Youth Soccer League..ranked second in the league as a senior in goals… In addition to her club and high school duties, she has been training at the National Training Center in Canada and was a candidate for the Canada Summer games in 2013.
Personal: Born September 18, 1996…daughter of Kari and Rob Benati…has one sister, Nicole…her favorite TV shows are Last Man Standing and Big Bang Theory…enjoys pop and rock music…lists her favorite musicians as Hedley, Chris Daughtry, Nickleback and Maroon 5…majoring in exercise science.
