2018: Continued to excel during her junior campaign earning the start in all 19 matches… Earned Second Team All-MAC honors as she continued to be a dominant force on the back end for UB… Excelled on the offensive end as well as she notched career highs in points (12), goals (6), assists (3) and shots (15)… Scored the game-winning goal at Youngstown State (8/24)… Scored the Bulls only goal against Ball State in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals (10/28)… Recorded three assists in a 5-0 win at Northern Illinois (9/21)… Helped the Buffalo defense earn eight clean sheets holding opponents to 1.47 goals/against… Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the second time in her career.
2017: Turned into one of the premier center backs in the MAC during her sophomore campaign as she started all 19 matches... earned First Team All-MAC honors for the first time in her Buffalo career after becoming a dominant force on the back end for UB... turned in her best season in the offensive end of the field as well as she was a threat on set pieces all season long, notching a goal and two assists for four points while also recording six shots... scored her first career goal on a header in a 2-2 draw against Fairleigh Dickinson (9/10)... notched an assist in the Bulls 2-1 win over Eastern Michigan (9/29)... picked up an assist in a 3-2 loss at Bowling Green (10/13)... hel;ped the Bulls secure six cleansheets while limiting their opponents to just 6.4 shots on goal/game... played in a career-high and team-high 1,759 minutes... named to the Academic All-MAC squad for the first time in her UB career.
2016: Came in right away and started for the Bulls at center back during her freshman season... was one of seven UB players to start and play all 20 games... finished the season ranked second on the team in minutes played with 1,886... notched one assist on the season to go along with eight shots, five of which on goal... recorded her first career assist on the game-winning goal as the Bulls downed Ohio (10/6) 2-1... recorded a career-high three shots in the Bulls road loss, 1-0, at Kent State (10/9)... helped lead a Buffalo defense that allowed just 0.85 goals/game while preserving six cleansheets... played a key role in shutting down the opposing teams best player game in and game out... earned MAC All-Freshman team honors after her great freshman campaign.
High School: Jandu comes to Buffalo from nearby Mississauga, Ontario where she had a successful high school career at John Fraser Secondary School for head coach Brianne Garde... The gritty defender was a two-year team captain while being named team Most Valuable Player three straight seasons... Jandu also had a very successful club career as she has played for the North Mississauga Soccer Club and Dixie Soccer Club over the past 10 seasons. She helped lead North Mississauga to two Ontario Youth Soccer League Championships in 2012 and 2013 while leading Dixie to a championship in 2015... The converted midfielder also was an integral part to North Mississauga earning the USA Cup Championship in 2012.
Personal: Born on February 6, 1998... daughter of Kiran and Bal Jandu... has one sister, MJ... lists her favorite athletes as Alex Morgan and Arjen Robben... her favorite food is fish and chips... lists her favorite TV shows as Chicago Fire, The Bachelor and Big Brother... planning on studying exercise science at UB.
