Julia Benati, Carissima Cutrona and Laura Dougall earned the nod for the third straight season while Meghan Simmons was named to the team for the second time. Gurjeena Jandu, Mairead Martin and Adrianna VanCuyck earned the recognition for the first time in their UB careers.

In recognition of a leadership gift made by the Murchie family to the recently announced fieldhouse, the UB Council endorsed a resolution, on Monday, to name the new fieldhouse at the University at Buffalo, the Murchie Family Fieldhouse in honor of former UB hockey player Tunney Murchie and his family. The naming is subject to the approval of the SUNY Chancellor and the SUNY Board of Trustees.

The longtime dream of an on-campus fieldhouse at the University at Buffalo will soon be a reality. University at Buffalo Director of Athletics Allen Greene announced on Friday that the university has secured the services of Rochester-based LeChase Construction as the general contractor and New York-based architecture firm CHA for the project.
