Shah Named To All-MAC Second Team

BUFFALO, NY - For the third straight year senior Tanvi Shah has been honored by the Mid-American Conference in its annual postseason awards as she was named All-MAC Second Team on Wednesday afternoon.

Shah is 16-10 on the season in singles action, having been a mainstay at number one in the UB singles lineup, where she is 11-6.  Shah has had a lot of success in doubles as she has a combined 20-8 record, also playing at first doubles.  She has teamed up with fellow seniors Miranda Podlas and Marta Stoyanova to play the majority of matches at first doubles.

Shah and the Bulls begin MAC Tournament play on Friday when they face Toledo in the Quarterfinals at 10 am.
