2012-13: Raced in six cross country meets as a junior, setting a career-best 8K time of 24:48.0 for a 23rd place finish at the Princeton Invite. He picked up his best finish of the year at the UB Stampede Invitational as he finished in second-place in a time of 25:19.2. Finished 9th in the 8K at the MAC Championships in a time of 25:02.4. Recorded a season-best 5,000 meter run time of 14:45.40 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Earned Academic All-MAC recognition for the second straight season.
2011-12: Raced in four cross country meets, setting top 8K time of 25:07.9 for a second-place finish at the UB Stampede Invitational. Finished 11th in the 5,000m (15:28.78) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set season-best 5,000m times of 14:58.03 (outdoor) and 15:03.33 (indoor). Earned Academic All-MAC recognition in cross country.
2010-11: Named Top Newcomer for cross country. Raced in three meets. Set top time of 27:15 for 5.2 miles at Penn State National Invitational. Had 10K time of 32:27.5 at the NCAA Northeast Regionals. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.
High School: Captained two seasons, earning eight letters for coach Brian Lasher at Starpoint High School. Helped the Spartans to an undefeated cross country record as a senior. Also lettered in track with Starpoint winning two outdoor sectional titles.
Personal: Born November 17, 1992. Son of Charles and Andrea Ahart. Has one brother (Ryan) and one sister (Hannah). Favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine. Favortie movies are the Bourne series. Majoring in chemistry and would like to attend medical school.
