2014: Peinkofer competed in six races for the Bulls as a sophomore, including the MAC Championships and the NCAA Northeast Regional...he clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 24:52 to place 12th and earn All-MAC Second-Team recognition at the conference championships...the first to cross the finish line for the Bulls, he was named UB Male Athlete of the Week two days later...at the following meet, Peinkofer ran second for UB with a 10K time of 31:38.65 on the regional course... he also was UB's runner-up at the Iona Meet of Champions and the Princeton Invitational...one second shy of his season 8K PR, he raced to a 24:53 finish at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational... Peinkofer finished in UB's top two in four of the six meets in which he raced.
2013: Peinkofer raced in five races for the Bulls during his rookie campaign. He closed out the season with a team-best 10-kilometer time of 32:20. Peinkofer placed 105th out of 255 runners at the NCAA Northeast Region Championship. He clocked a season-best 8K time of 25:25 at the Princeton Invitational and placed 30th at the MAC Championship in 26:04 – the third-fastest UB performance at the meet.
High School: Won 11 letters and captained two seasons at Charles W. Baker High School. Earned All-State accolades as a junior and senior. Earned team Most Valuable Player honors three times. Named All-Conference three straight seasons.
Personal: Born November 27, 1995. Son of Robert and Karen Peinkofer. Has one sister, Nicole. Favorite musicians include Stevie Wonder and Kanye West. Some of his hobbies include camping, hiking and biking. Majoring in chemistry.
