Cross Country Places Nine On Academic All-MAC Squads

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo cross country teams placed a total of nine student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC squads, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Buffalo had five members from their women's team and four members from their men's team earn the academic honor for their productivity in the classroom and on the course.

A total of 52 student-athletes were named to the men's team while 83 student-athletes were named to the women's team.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
