Sam Starling joined the University at Buffalo Sports Medicine team in July of 2023, and serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Football.
Sam graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Food & Nutrition in May 2021. She worked with multiple sports including swim and dive, women’s volleyball, women’s soccer, and football. Sam finished in fall 2020 with the football team traveling to the National Championship.
She also completed an internship at Sipsey Valley High School during the 2019 fall semester as well as Texas A&M University in the Summer of 2020 both primarily working with football.
She spent her next two years as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Football for the University of Arkansas and graduated with a Master of Science in Exercise Science in May 2023.
Sam is originally a native of Southern California
