2014-15: Played in 32 games, making six starts during the year...missed one game in December due to illness...had a career-high 20 points against Ohio (3/3)...recorded his first double-double of the year with 14 points and 11 rebounds against Binghamton (12/30)...scored 15 points at Kentucky (11/16) and added 12 points against Drexel (12/16)...finished with 12 points and six rebounds against Northern Illinois (1/14)...added eight points and seven rebounds at Ohio (1/24) and had 12 points and three assists in the win over Akron (2/24)....scored 11 points and had eight rebounds in the semifinal win against Akron (3/13) and added eight points and six rebounds in the championship vs. Central Michigan (3/14).
Previous School: Spent two years at the College of Central Florida...started all 30 games for the Patriots last season, averaging 16.2 points and 6.3 reboounds per game...went over 30 points three times during his sophomore season, including 34 points against Daytona State College....averaged 14 points a game during his freshman year as the Patriots won a NJCAA National Title.
High School: Earned four letters for head coach Dashawn Gather at Lee Academy in Lee, Maine...helped his team to a 35-8 record as a senior.

Son of Flemming Downey and Nicole Wigginton-Downey....has four brothers and one sister...favorite athletes are Lebron James and Allen Iverson...chose UB because of the great environment and the coaching staff...lists his greatest athletics experience as winning the Junior College National Championship in 2012-13...Chose his uniform number in memory of his brother.
