High School: Fortunate comes to Buffalo from Briarcliff Manor, NY where she competed for Briarcliff High School and New York Soccer Club GA 03. Her NYSC was ranked as high as #11 in the nation according to Top Drawer Soccer and Fortunate contributed to her team's success for seven years. Off the pitch, Fortunate was a member of the Rho Kappa and National Honor Societies.
