
Bulls Travel to Ohio for Final Dual of the Season

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team travels to Ohio on Saturday night for their final dual of the season. The Bulls are 11-6 overall and 6-2 in MAC duals on the season.
Buffalo is coming off a 28-10 loss at Central Michigan last Sunday, snapping its six-dual win streak. In the latest MAC rankings that came out on Thursday, four Bulls are ranked in the Top 5. Derek Spann is first at 133, Michael Petite is third at 157, Jay Nivison is fourth at 174 and Noah Grover is ranked fifth at 165.
Ohio is 9-3 overall and 5-2 in MAC duals. The Bulls and Bobcats have similar wins and losses in league duals as both teams have defeated Cleveland State, Northern Illinois, Kent State and SIUE and have losses to Central Michigan and Clarion.
The Bobcats have three wrestlers ranked nationally. Alex Hagan (149) is 29th, Jordan Slivka (157) is 27th and Sal Perrine is (174) is 20th.
