Hoof Prints: Local product who is projected to start after showing flashes of greatness in 2014 and 2015... just the second running back in the Bulls FBS era to rush for 100 yards in each of his first two career starts... was a standout quarterback in high school... chose UB because it was close to home and the coaching staff seemed like a good fit... major is sociology.
Junior (2015): Played in all 12 games and started three games at running back… split carries with Anthone Taylor… finished the season rushing for 811 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns… had at least one rushing touchdown in each of the final six games of the season… added nine receptions for 69 yards… rushed for 69 yards on 11 carries (6.3 avg.) and a touchdown against Albany (9/5)… ran for 66 yard and a score at Florida Atlantic (9/19)… rushed for 79 yards, including 37-yard scamper, against Nevada (9/26)… in his first-career start, rushed for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns against Ohio (10/24)… followed that up by rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns at Miami (OH) (10/29)… rushed for 60 yards on 14 carries and a score at Kent State (11/5)… ran for 66 yards on only six career and a TD against Northern Illinois (11/11)… had two rushing touchdowns at Akron (11/21)… Rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown against Massachusetts (11/27).
Sophomore (2014): After struggling with injuries early in his career, was finally healthy and had a breakout season... ranked second on the team in rushing with 361 yards on 74 carries… averaged 4.9 yards per carry… added three catches for 21 yards…. rushed for 97 yards on 20 carries, including a season-long 35-yard scamper against Baylor (9/12)… rushed for 41 yards on nine carries against Norfolk State (9/20)… had his first career 100-yard game and added his first touchdown when he rushed for 104 yards on 17 carries (6.1 avg.) against Akron (11/11)… Also threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Matt Weiser against Akron… ran for 51 yards on nine carries against Massachusetts (11/28).
Redshirt-Freshman (2013): Missed the entire season after suffering an injury in preseason camp.
Freshman (2012): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Outstanding athlete who played in the shadows of the UB Campus at nearby Sweet Home High School for head coach John Faller ... the Class A State Player of the Year as both a junior and senior and a first-team All-WNY and All-State honoree ... a Connolly Cup finalist (Western New York’s top player) ... team captain who was 33-2 with three Class A titles in his career ... at QB, rushed for 1,365 yards and 22 TDs while throwing for 830 yards with nine TDs ... also averaged 42.0 yards on kickoffs returns ... had three interceptions at DB, including a 65-yard return for a score vs. Aquinas.
