Previous School: At Iowa Western, Bowman helped lead the Reivers to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship Game in 2014. Iowa Western, coached by Scott Strohmeier, was the top-ranked JUCO team in the nation during the regular season. Bowman was a three-year letterwinner and one-year team captain for head coach Kevin Culjat at St. Albert Catholic High School. He was named first-team All-State, All-City, All-District and All-Western Iowa his senior season and helped the Falcons to a 10-1 record. He was named first-team All-City, All-District, All-Western Iowa and second-team All-State as a junior.
