Hoof Prints: Will challenge for the starting cornerback job after making three starts last season... transfer from Chaffey College... his uncle, Chris Davis, was a linebacker in the NFL, including a season with the New York Giants in 1987... his father, Ron, was a running back at San Diego State and spent some time with the Los Angeles Rams... major is sociology.
Junior (2017): Saw action in all 12 games and started nine… had a team-best nine pass breakups on the season… had 29 tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble on the year… had three tackles and two pass breakups at Minnesota (Aug. 31)… had two pass breakups against Colgate (Sept. 16)… had a season-high six tackles, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble and three pass breakups against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 23)… had four tackles against Western Michigan (Oct. 7)… had five tackles against Northern Illinois (Oct. 14)… had five tackles against Bowling Green (Nov. 7).
Sophomore (2016): Played in 10 games and started three at cornerback… had 15 tackles (12 solo) on the year… also had a pair of tackles for loss… had two tackles against Albany (9/2), Nevada (9/17), Ohio (11/3) and Western Michigan (11/19)… had a season-high five tackles and a sack against Akron (10/27)… had two pass breakups at Ohio (11/3).
Previous School: Transferred to UB after playing one season at Chaffey College. Played in eight games and had 11 tackles, an interception and three pass breakups for the Panthers. The Upland, CA native played his high school football at Upland High School.
