2015-2016: Placed 3rd at Penn State Invitational in 60m hurdles with a time of 9.15… Took 5th at Cornell in 60m hurdles, clocking in at 9.12.
2014-15: Ran a season-best time of 15.69 in the 100-meter hurdles.
High School: Attended Queensbury High School...competed for coach Pete Crotty...named team MVP 2011-14...set school records in the long jump (17''0") and 100-meter hurdles (14.7)...named to all-area first team for four straight years...helped the Spartans to a league record of 10-0 as a senior...was a sectional champion 2012-14...placed fourth in Division 1 at the state meet...also played basketball and ran cross country.
Personal: Born April 19, 1996...daughter of Stephanie Carota...has one brother, Nakai, and one sister, Nevaeh...majoring in biological sciences...hopes to become a radiologist...enjoys watching football and basketball...favorite kinds of music are hip hop, alternative, 80s and R&B...chose UB as it felt like home, had a welcoming T&F team and because of its beautiful campus...describes oneself as motivated and driven, athletic and artistic...lists her mom as the most impressive person she''s ever met.
