Previous School: Spent three seasons at Cleveland State... won 13 matches with four pins and a major decision as a junior... tied a school record with six dual meet pins and won 20 bouts, with 10 coming in dual meets as the team''s starter at 133 as a sophomore... tied for third on the team with 12 wins with two pins and a team-best five major decisions while wrestling at 133 pounds as a true freshman.
High School: Inducted into the Massachusetts Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2010… finished high school career with a 153-23 record, including going 45-2 as a senior… three-time all-state champ… finished fourth at nationals as a senior… member of a squad that won the state championships in 2009.
Personal: Born in Buffalo, New York…son of Ernie and Kelly Flannery…has two brothers and one sister… majored in criminology at Cleveland State.
