2009-10: Competed in four cross country meets. Set top 5K time of 20:45 at UB Stampede Invitational. Set top 6K time of 24:52 at Lehigh Paul Short Invitational. Did not compete during indoor or outdoor track seasons.
High School: Captained three seasons at Clarence High School for coach John Hunt. Earned Most Valuable Performer and was named to the Section VI and All-Western New York Scholar-Athlete teams. Also lettered in lacrosse and field hockey for the Red Devils.
Personal: Born August 28, 1991. Daughter of Jerome and Luisa Gasiewicz. Has one brother (Jeremy). Favorite foods include ice cream cake and shish kebob. Favorite athlete is U.S. gold medal gymnast Nastia Liukin. Majoring in biology.
