Junior (2016): Had a breakout season for the Bulls, starting all 12 games at outside linebacker… ranked second on the team in tackles with a season-best 103… tied for the team lead with 61 solo tackles… ranked third on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss… added three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an interception… had seven or more tackles in eight games… finished the season strong with a season-high 15 tackles (12 solo) at Western Michigan (11/19) and 14 tackles at Bowling Green (11/25)… had eight tackles and a sack against Albany (9/2)… had 13 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery against Army (9/24)… had six tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery at Boston College (10/1)… had seven tackles and an interception against Ball State (10/15)… had six tackles and a sack against Miami (OH) (11/12).
Sophomore (2015): Appeared in 10 games… had 13 tackles on the season… had a season-high three tackles against Albany (9/5)… had two tackles at Florida Atlantic (9/19)… Had two tackles at Miami (OH) (10/29)… had two tackles against Northern Illinois (11/11).
Freshman (2014): Appeared in four games as a true freshman… did not register a tackle on the season.
High School: A three-time All-Conference selection and first-team All-Ohio pick as a senior, Hargrove was named the team’s MVP as a junior and senior. Hargrove also received an invite to play in the Ohio North-South All-Star football game, the highest honor for high school football players in the state of Ohio. Off the field, Hargrove was also named OHFCA Academic All-Ohio as a senior and ranked second in his class.
