2008-09: Finished with a 7-4 overall record at 184.... captured first-place titles at the Jamestown CC Open and in the “B” bracket of the NYS Intercollegiate Championships... competed at the Body Bar Invitational and Reno Tournament of Champions.
2007-08: Compiled an 11-8 record while competing in five tournaments... won the “B” bracket title at the NYS Intercollegiate Championships at 184 with a 3-0 record.
2006-07: Redshirted... finished with a 4-5 record at 197.
High School: Won four letters and captained two seasons at Cato Meridian High School for coach Dan Butler... won the 2006 Section III Championship after a second-place finish in 2005... finished with a 42-1 record as a senior, claiming a Division II state title at 215.
Personal: Born January 15, 1988... son of Cliff and Beth Brown... has three brothers, Geno, Ben and Tony... also enjoys basketball...Favorite movie is Fight Club... favorite TV show is Criminal Minds... favorite band is Breaking Benjamin... also recruited by Binghamton, Cortland, Brockport, Ithaca and Oswego... favorite quote is “In life, other things may change you but you begin and end with family”...volunteered in high school by teaching kindergartners how to read... chose to attend UB due to its large campus and top-notch wrestling program... majoring in psychology.
