
Bulls Travel Back to Ohio for Youngstown State Invite

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo track and field team will travel back to Youngstown, Ohio for a meet on Friday, Jan. 17 for the Youngstown State Invite. The meet is set to start at noon in the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).
The Bulls are coming off a successful trip from Ann Arbor, Mich. as last Saturday they competed in the Wolverine Invite hosted by the University of Michigan.
Senior Leon Atkins passed Will Cole (2012) for fifth on UB's All-Time list in the 600-meter run as he finished in 1:20.69 at the Wolverine Invite. Atkins now holds the first and fifth records in UB history.
On the women's side of the 600-meter run, Sydney March finished in third place with a time of 1:37.80. Her time also places in the UB Top-10, ninth place.
Jeremy Lissade looks to progress as he finished third in the 60-meter dash in a time of 6.90 in Ann Arbor. This time marks a personal best and good for ninth on the UB All-Time list.
Nisa Raqib will look to stay hot in the triple jump. The last time the team was in Youngstown, Ohio, she set a new UB record that has not been broken in 16 years. She finished with a distance of 12.77 meters.
